F.A.Q.

WHY DO MY MAG WHEELS DENT OR BEND QUITE EASILY.

The answer to this is split in 3 parts.

Mag wheels are made from Aluminium which is relatively soft but very light.
Most tyres fitted to Mag wheels are Low profile which have a very small side wall thus not giving a cushioning effect like larger profile tyres.
Lots of modified cars have lowered or modified suspension where the springs are very hard putting lots of impact into the wheels.

CAN I STRAIGHTEN MY DENTED MAG WHEEL WITH A HAMMER.

No.

If you strike a Mag wheel with a hammer you run the risk of crystalising the area where hit, which can lead to cracking.

CAN I GET MY CHROME MAGS RECHROMED.

In NZ the process of Rechroming Aluminium in a large form has not been perfected yet.
So the answer at present is NO.

CAN I CHANGE THE FITMENT OF MY MAGS.

Most Mag wheel PCDs (Pitch Circle Diameters) can be changed.
In some circustances this can't be done but once we have a visual of the Mags in question we can say yes or no.

CAN I HAVE MY MAGS PAINTED A DIFFERENT COLOUR.

Yes you can, and the choices are endless depending on your budget.
