What began as a specialist automotive component manufacturing workshop evolved into a respected race car preparation facility, with many successful results on the track and a reputation for precision workmanship.
Over the years, Brugar Engineering has continued to evolve, with alloy wheel repairs and mag wheel repairs becoming our speciality and the service we are best known for. Today, customers throughout Auckland and across the North Island trust us to repair, restore and modify wheels that many other workshops would consider beyond repair.

Since taking ownership of Brugar Engineering in 2019, I have been committed to maintaining the high standards, quality workmanship and reputation built by the previous owner, Bruce. Through returning customers, word-of-mouth recommendations and referrals from businesses throughout New Zealand, we continue to build on that proud history.
Our speciality is repairing damaged alloy wheels, from extensive welded rim repairs through to minor cosmetic damage such as kerb rash. Every wheel is carefully inspected before work begins. If I believe a wheel cannot be safely repaired or that the structural integrity could be compromised, I will tell you honestly and won't proceed with the repair.
We don't simply repair wheels — we restore confidence. Every completed wheel leaves our workshop only when it meets our high standards, and all wheel repairs and modifications are personally guaranteed.
